Cancellation policy
At Whatbox Creative Design, we value your business and are committed to delivering high-quality creative work. To ensure fairness and protect the time and resources invested in each project, we have established the following cancellation policy:
1. Cancellation by Client
If a project is cancelled by the client at any stage after an agreement has been made and work has commenced, the client will be invoiced for all work completed up to the point of cancellation. This includes, but is not limited to, time spent on project research, design drafts, consultations, correspondence, and any other work undertaken in preparation or execution of the project.
2. Minimum Cancellation Fee
A minimum cancellation fee of 25% of the total quoted project cost will apply if the project is cancelled after commencement, even if minimal work has been completed. This is to cover administrative costs and scheduling commitments.
3. Payment Terms on Cancellation
Upon cancellation, an itemised invoice will be issued outlining the work completed and the associated costs. This invoice is payable within 7 days of receipt. Failure to pay may result in additional fees, including interest charges and recovery costs.
4. Final Deliverables
In the event of cancellation, any work completed up to the point of termination will be delivered to the client only after payment of the final invoice. Any unpaid work, concepts, or drafts remain the intellectual property of Whatbox Creative Design and may not be used by the client in any form.
5. Deposits and Non-Refundable Payments
Any deposits or upfront payments made are non-refundable. Deposits secure the booking and compensate for the time allocated to the project, which could otherwise have been used for other clients.
6. Cancellation by Whatbox Creative Design
In the rare instance where Whatbox Creative Design must cancel a project due to unforeseen circumstances, the client will be refunded any payments made for work not completed, minus any time or resources already spent on the project. We will always strive to provide advance notice and assist in transitioning the project where possible.
